The two clubs recently reached an agreement over the transfer of the 24-year-old striker, who has now agreed personal terms with Inter and secured a switch away from Eastlands.
Jo moves for an undisclosed fee, and returns to his homeland after leaving Corinthians to join CSKA Moscow in 2005. His form with the Russian side saw him pick up three caps for Brazil, and in 2008 he moved to City for £18 million.
However, he only managed six goals in 41 games at the club, and was loaned out to Everton and Galatasaray. He had long been out of favour at City, and will now hope to rebuild his career with Inter.
