Botafogo made official the hiring of midfielder Gregore until December 31, 2026, from Inter Miami. The footballer is already in Rio de Janeiro, he quickly received authorization to play and was even listed on the Copa Libertadores list with the number he has been wearing, number 26.
29 years old and remembered for his time at Bahía, this defensive midfielder arrives for around 2.5 million euros, according to what the Brazilian press reported. He has been in the MLS since February 2021: in total he played 65 games there, in which he provided eight assists.

“We would like to thank Gregore for all his contributions on and off the field, and we wish him the best in this new step in his career as he returns to Brazil,” said Chris Henderson, sporting director of the American team. “His leadership and hard work have been key for us during his time at the club,” he added according to an official statement.
