Juliano Belletti, a notable Brazilian footballer who notably scored the winning goal in the 2006 Champions League final, is set to enhance the coaching team of Barça Atlètic. He will be assisting head coach Rafa Márquez. Belletti’s relationship with Barça spans from 2004 to 2007 as a key player, and he has already been involved in a similar coaching role with the U19A team for a few months.

This appointment marks a reunion for Belletti and Márquez, who previously shared the field as teammates in Barça’s iconic blaugrana kit. Now, as coaches, they are united with a common purpose: nurturing and developing the emerging talents destined to be the future luminaries of Barça.

Post-retirement, Belletti embarked on a coaching journey that led him from being an assistant coach at Cruzeiro EC in Brazil starting in 2021, to taking charge of the U10 team at Sao Paulo FC from 2022 until mid-2023. His return to Barça Atlètic is a significant step in his evolving coaching career.
