Chelsea winger Willian has admitted that his future at the club is still in doubt with his contract set to expire this summer.

The player and the club have been locked in negotiations for a while now, with the Brazilian holding out for a 3-year deal.

Chelsea are reluctant to issue a 3-year contract for a player who will be 32 at the start of next season.

“Chelsea offered me two years, and they are not going to change what they offered. I said I wanted three more years,” he told Esportivo Interativo.

“The situation is difficult because of this, I really don’t know if it will be possible. My goal is to continue working and focus on this remainder of the season, so that Chelsea can continue winning the games for the remainder of the season.”

Willian moved to Stamford Bridge in 2013 and recently became a British citizen. He has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer.
