Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar Junior says he is still haunted by the Chanpions League defeat to Manchester United last season.
The Brazilian was injured for the last 16 tie when a stoppage time Marcus Rashford penalty in the second leg saw PSG eliminated.
“have never lost a final. I don’t know what feeling that causes. I just know what it is like to be eliminated, and it’s horrible,” he told France Football.
“Last season, when we went out against Manchester United, it was even harder for me because I was not on the pitch.
“I suffered as much as I would’ve had I been on it and I was very sad. I felt bad because we had a real opportunity to go to the quarter-finals and for me to be able to play. But we have to go through these sorts of bad experiences in order to learn.”
