Everton boss Marco Silva is tipping Brazilian forward Richarlison for another big season for the Toffees after winning the Copa América with Brazil in the summer.
The forward scored during the Seleção’s 3-1 final win against Peru and Silva thinks winning the tournament can inspire the player to do great things in 2019-20.
“Doing well in an important competition with the national team gives Richarlison a lot of good things,” Silva told evertontv.
“It will give him extra belief and possibly more consistency as a football player, which is something we are working with him to achieve.
“He has the other things he needs; he is a boy who likes to learn every day and work really hard to achieve what he is in his career.
“He has high quality and we are really happy to have a player like him in our squad. You are talking about a young player, just 22, and he has scored many important goals for us. He got into his national team and you know how difficult that is.”
