Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is paying no mind to speculation linking David Luiz with a January transfer. The Brazilian has been linked with Arsenal and Real Madrid.

Luiz has recently fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge, amidst rumours of a falling out between him and the manager. The 31-year old is currently nursing a knee injury.

Conte was in no mood to discuss a transfer in his press conference ahead of the League Cup tie with Bournemouth on Wednesday evening.

"I don"t read [the speculation] and I [therefore] solve the problem. I don"t read so I don"t have information about this topic. As a person I am very realistic, I like to tell the truth."

The Blues’ boss also revealed that Brazilian youngster Kenedy will get a chance against the Cherries. He has struggled for minutes since joining the club from Fluminense in 2015.

"The commitment to us was perfect and I think it is right for this reason for him to play in an important game," added Conte.

“I have to trust my players, not only with words but with facts, to show that I trust them. I want to give my players a big opportunity in a big game to show me they should play."
