According to the information from Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade, Villas-Boas will receive around €15 million per season. The contract is valid for two years. In China, Villas-Boas, 39, will replace Sven-Göran Eriksson and has reunited once again with Brazilian forward Hulk, with whom he worked together at Zenit and also at FC Porto. Shanghai SIPG also have playmaker Darío Conca, formerly of Fluminense, and former Vitória and Botafogo striker Elkeson. In recent months, the ex-Chelsea and Tottenham manager rejected several enquiries. São Paulo, Porto, Marseille and Southampton were some of the clubs that tried to sign Villas-Boas.
