Santos want to sign Paulo Henrique Ganso for the 2016 season, and are studying the best possible way to conduct negotiations with the player currently at rivals São Paulo.
Ganso was revealed by the Vila Belmiro side, but has been at São Paulo since 2012, but Santos are now trying to bring him back. Ganso left Santos after some serious disagreements with the previous board, and is seen as a mercenary by the club fans.
Santos winger Geuvânio talked about Ganso’s return and insisted that they will welcome him well. He said: “Everyone knows about his ability. Team player, everyone knows that. So if he comes back here to Santos, everyone will receive him with open arms. Here, it’s an environment he knows well, he feels at home and we are willing to welcome him.”
He added: “The way he left was difficult, right? But all is period. If you give him time, he will get the confidence of the fans again. What happened is past. We have to turn the page. If he comes here, he will honor the shirt of Santos as he always did.”
