Dante has insisted there are no problems between him and Pep Guardiola before the two meet this evening when Wolfsburg host Bayrn Munich.
Dante joined Wolfsburg in the summer for €4.5 million after spending most of his time at Bayern on the bench following Guardiola’s arrival.
“I have nothing against Pep,” 31 year old Dante insisted. “I never said anything wrong about him, I’m not crazy.”
Dante and Wolfsburg will be hoping to repeat last season’s scoreline in this fixture when Wolfsburg ran out 4-1 winners. Bayern are currently four points ahead of the Brazilian and his team mates but Wolfsburg remain unbeaten.
“There is always a bit of a surprise with Guardiola,” Dante added, referring to the Spaniard’s tendency to name surprising formations. “We must be very compact, with a lot of aggressive play. We-have to play good football and keep the ball.”
Guardiola has also been in the news in Manchester after Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that the 44 year old turned down the chance to succeed him as Manchester United manager before David Moyes was appointed.
