Rildo was operated on his left shoulder early on Tuesday and will be under treatment until the end of the week.
The Timão striker suffered a dislocation in a tumble during their 3-0 victory over Joinville at the Itaquera last week, and will be out of the team for two months. According to the doctor Ivan Grava, the surgery performed at Hospital São Luiz went as expected, and once discharged, Rildo will start physiotherapy at CT Joaquim Grava, possibly by the end of the week. Rildo joins young striker Luciano [who ruptured knee ligaments] in the medical department, and also midfielder Bruno Henrique who"s in the final stages of recovery. Corinthians have signed two new attacking players in the last two days, with Lincom and Lucca arriving from Bragantino and Criciúma respectively. Lincom has signed a contract until the end of the year, while Lucca"s deal runs out after next year"s Campeonato Paulista.
