Lazio playmaker Felipe Anderson, part of the Olympic squad which will play a friendly against France on September 8, says he is proud to represent his nation, even though he would prefer to be in the full squad.
He said: “Obviously the Seleção remains my goal and I want to return to the full squad, but I have never hidden that I wanted to be in this team for the Olympic Games. It is very important for me to be part of this project which could bring the first gold medal for Brazil in this competition. The French team is a very strong and it will be a great test for us. “
