Fluminense president Peter Siemsen has confirmed that highly rated midfielder Gérson will join Roma.
The president of the Brazilian club revealed during a press conference on Wednesday that a deal was struck with the Italians. Roma will pay nearly €17 million for Gérson, who will arrive in January and he’s expected in Rome next week to undergo medical tests and complete his move to the club. Siemsen said: “Gérson will remain with Fluminense until December. Then, he will be transferred to Roma.”
