Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro has been left in limbo after an administrative error by club staff threw into doubt the legitimacy of his British work permit.
The former Internacional man has now been banned for playing for his club whilst an investigation by the Home Office takes places.
The problems may, conversely, suit QPR chiefs who are reportedly desperate to offload Sandro due to his high wages after their relegation from the Premier League.
