Internacional’s young star Rodrigo Valdivia Douradom one of the revelations of the year so far, is expected to extend his contract in the coming weeks despite interest from European clubs.
On Radio Gaucho, his agent confirmed discussions were ongoing with the leadership of the Gaucho club in order to extend his contract until 2019.
There has been rumoured interest in the 20-year-old midfielder from English and Italian teams but the youngster’s initial goal is to stay and to assert himself in his own country before attempting a European adventure.
