After an excellent performance in yesterday’s 2-0 victory over Mexico, Brazil defensive midfielder Elias praised his side’s performance and the way in which he interacted with midfield partner Fernandinho.
“The whole team played well,” said the Corinthians midfielder. “The pitch did not help much but we tried to do what we have seen in training. This is the first time that I started with Fernandinho and I think we played well.”
