Palmeiras have bolstered their squad by signing attacking midfielder Fellype Gabriel.
Palmeiras revealed the signing on Thursday evening and the player is expected to finalise his medical on Monday. The 29 year old will join up with Palmeiras coach Oswaldo de Oliveira. The pair worked together at Botafogo in 2012.
“It’s another challenge in my career,” said Gabriel. “I will work hard to reproduce the successful partnership with Oswaldo and my new teammates. I know all about Palmeiras and the strength of the fans. I am ready to give my maximum and help the club achieve its goals for the year.”
Gabriel last played for Al Sharjah in UAE and returns to Brazil for the first time since 2013.
