Palmeiras midfielder Cleiton Xavier is ready to make an impact if he is picked for their game against Santos this weeked.
Xavier has found it hard to break into the starting eleven at Palmeiras following his return from Metalist Kharkiv in the summer. The 32 year old may now have a chance because Valdivia is a major doubt for the game against Santos.
“I’m ready,” Xavier told reporters, “I trained well and I was able to attend a full week of training. Oswaldo will choose the fittest players to help get the win but I am ready to help my team.”
