Wellington Silva has spoken of his relief after finally being granted permission to play at Arsenal.
The Brazilian winger first joined the Gunners in 2011 but due to not being granted a work permit has had to wait four years. During that time he has played at five different teams on loan including Almería this season.
Last week the 22 year old was granted a Spanish passport meaning that next season he will join up with Arsene Wenger and co.
“I am very happy and relieved. I’ve been waiting a long time and now’s the time to seize the opportunity, the doors will open.”
