Grêmio forward Júnior Viçosa joins Swiss Challenge League side FC Chiasso on a free transfer
Grêmio forward Júnior Viçosa has joined Swiss Challenge League side FC Chiasso on a free transfer.
The 25 year-old, who was signed from ASA for reported fee of €350,000 in January 2011, will be managed by former Italy international Gianluca Zambrotta at Chiasso and will hope to aid their lack of potency in front of goal.
Viçosa came to prominence with a return of ten goals in 21 appearances whilst on loan at Atlético Goianiense last season.
The Viçosa native has agreed an initial deal until June with Chiasso, though that could be extended if he impresses.
