According to Globo Esporte, it’s unlikely to see Patito Rodríguez’ name in the squad list for the 2015 season because he’s not in the plans of coach Enderson Moreira. The club board thinks his monthly salary of around €70,000 is high and as his contract ends in July 2016, they see this as a good opportunity to raise cash. Patito arrived at Santos in 2012 as a cover for Neymar who was away with the Brazil Olympic team. Santos own 50% economic-rights of the player who scored just 2 goals for them in 44 appearances.
