Marseille have rejected an approach from São Paulo for out of favour defender Dória, according to reports.

Website Get French Football News claims that the Ligue 1 leaders are not ready to release the 20 year-old, despite the fact he is yet to play a single minute this season.

Dória was signed by Marseille from Botafogo for a reported fee of €5 million in September, but has found himself frozen out of the first-team by Head Coach Marcelo Bielsa, who insists he didn’t sanction the purchase of the Brazil international.

With Dória apparently unwanted by Bielsa, many clubs are believed to be ready to make a move for him in the January transfer window, though whether Marseille are willing to let him move, despite his current predicament, remains to be seen.
