Neymar scored the second goal during Barcelona’s 3-1 victory last night which secured them top spot in their Champions League group.
The score was 1-1 when Neymar picked the ball up and drove at the Paris Saint Germain defence. They backed off and were punished when he struck a fierce shot into the back of the net from outside the area.
Team mate Andrés Iniesta praised Neymar for his strike and claimed that it was the most important moment of the match,
“He took advantage of their defence which looked a little hesitant and scored a great goal from far away, with spectacular curve. The goal was extremely important to give us peace of mind.”
Neymar now has 14 goals in 18 games this season for Barcelona.
