Brasileirão club Corinthians are attempting to sign their former defender from Hamburger SV only three months after he left the club.
Cléber has failed to settle in Europe and has told friends that he wants to return to his home country. The defender has played only three times for his new team and has ended up on the losing side in each game.
It is believed Hamburger SV are open to the possibility of the 23 year old returning to Brazil on loan.
Cléber’s move to Hamburg in August was surrounded in controversy after Corinthians received no money whatsoever. The €8 million that Hamburger SV paid went solely to the players’ investors.
