Ronaldinho Gaúcho has been granted a work permit to play for Mexcian club Querétaro and should be presented to the club’s fans tomorrow, according to Globo Esporte.

The 34-year-old posted a photo of his new work visa on social media platform Instagram this afternoon, and is ready to embark to the North American country for the next chapter of his career.

“Visa in my hands! Everything ready to focus on work and dedication in Mexico! Now all that is left is to leave for Querétaro and start training! Let’s go Gallos!” the player wrote.

According to his new club, the former Seleção No. 10 will be in the stadium for tomorrow’s Mexican league match against Puebla. It is unlikely however that the veteran playmaker will be able to participate in the contest, as he will only have just arrived in his new country.

He should greet the fans on the pitch prior to kick-off, and then watch the match from the stands. The expectation is that the club’s stadium, the Estádio La Corregidora, will be packed to its 45,000 capacity for tomorrow’s clash.

However, the final decision is being left up to the Gallos coach, Ignacio Ambríz. He could alternatively make his official debut next Wednesday, against Tigres, in the Mexican Cup.
