New Santos signing Robinho is in line to make a third debut for the club inSunday’s game with Corinthians at Vila Belmiro, 12 years after first appearing for the club.

Robinho joins on a loan deal from Italian giants AC Milan until June of next year, and will wear the number seven shirt for Peixe. Head coach Oswaldo de Oliveira told a press conference yesterday: “There is great confidence that tomorrow the club will include his name in the squad.”

“The club took all the measures, with the goodwill of Milan, and tomorrow he will be properly registered.”

Oliveira did, however, urge caution regarding the arrival of the 30 year-old, adding: “Go slowly. He needs to feel his new teammates. He will be very frequent in the Santos team.”

“We dont know if he will play (against Corinthians). Upon his arrival, we will begin a series of assessments. If able to, he’ll play. If not, we will re-evaluate and keep him for the next game.”
