Brazilian midfielder Casemiro hopes to use his friendships with Danilo and Alex Sandro to settle at new club FC Porto, after moving to the Portuguese side on a year’s loan from European champions Real Madrid.

The 22 year-old former Sao Paulo player is linking up with the pair again after winning the under-20 World Cup with them in 2011 and told Globoesporte: “I’m very close to Danilo, we keep in touch regarding the Brazilian national team.”

“He has passed me great information about Porto and and the city, and helped me to adapt to the club and the country.”

“Alex (Sandro) has been very friendly to me also, as well as all my teammates. God willing, I’ll raise another glass to Alex and to Danilo.”

A known breeding ground for Brazilian players coming over to Europe, Porto now boast an incredible eight players at the club; Helton, Maicon, Fabiano, Evandro, Carlos Eduardo and Kelvin also ply their trade at the 2004 Champions League winners.
