Thursday’s game at the Arena Corinthians will be the first at the venue following the conclusion of the World Cup.

The game will mark the restart of the Brasileirão season with both teams looking to push on after enjoying the mid-season break.

The club expects to have a “full house” for the encounter against Inter. Before the World Cup, games against Figueirense and Botafogo drew crowds of 36,123 and 37,119 respectively.

The World Cup semi-final between Holland and Argentina saw a crowd of 63,267 enjoy a tight encounter which Argentina won on penalties.

The capacity, however, will now be reduced to 48,000 with some sections erected only for the six games hosted during the World Cup.

Ticket prices at the Arena range from £15 to £100 (VIP).
