Chelsea and Atlético Madrid reach agreement over transfer of Filipe LuísFilipe Luís in action against Gareth Bale last season
Atlético Madrid left-back looks likely to finalise his move to Chelsea in the coming days, with the Daily Mail reporting that the West London outfit will pay the Madrid side £20 million for the Brazilian.
Chelsea have already signed Diego Costa from the La Liga champions and it now it looks likely that Filipe Luís will be heading the same way.
Filipe Luís will fill the void left by Ashley Cole who recently joined Italian side Roma whilst Atlético have already signed another Brazilian, Benfica’s Guilherme Siqueira, as a replacement for the Chelsea bound 28-year-old.
Chelsea have also been heavily linked with Tiago Mendes whilst Thibaut Courtois has returned to his parent club to compete for the number one jersey with Petr Cech.
