The nominees for FIFA’s World Cup awards have been announced and unsurprisingly only one Brazilian features in the three lists.

Neymar’s impressive tally of four goals in five matches has earned him a nomination for the Golden Ball – awarded to the best player of the tournament.

The Barcelona ace will face competition from club team mate Lionel Messi for the award as well as several over impressive names who have enjoyed successful World Cup’s.

Meanwhile France’s Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane have both been nominated for the Young Player Award alongside Holland’s Memphis Depay.

The Golden Glove nominations are Argentina’s Sergio Romero, Germany’s Manuel Neuer and Costa Rica’s Keylor Navas.

The full list of nominees for the Golden Ball are: Ángel di María (Argentina), Mats Hummels (Germany), James Rodríguez (Colombia), Toni Kroos (Germany), Philipp Lahm (Germany), Javier Mascherano (Argentina), Lionel Messi (Argentina), Thomas Müller (Germany), Arjen Robben (Netherlands) and Neymar (Brazil).
