The Rolling Stones frontman is said to have responded to bizarre claims that he is a bad omen.

He has been blamed for Brazil’s World Cup exit, having watched the hosts lose 7-1 to Germany in Belo Horizonte.

His reputation as a bad luck charm dates back to the 2010 tournament, when the wrinkly rocker supported England, the USA and Brazil at World Cup games they all lost.

According to The Sun, Jagger said: “I can take responsibility for the first German goal but not the other six!”
