Argentina forward Sergio Aguero has warned his team ahead of the World Cup Final that Brazil’s capitulation against Germany is something that came as little surprise to him, claiming that the European side have the qualities to do the same against other teams.
Aguero told reporters ahead of Sunday’s game: “Germany is a great team. What happened to Brazil could happen to any team.”
The Manchester City man stopped short of allowing thoughts of a similar fate to happen at the Maracana in the next match, however, adding that “we have players who can create danger up front- we are in the Final for a reason.”
Brazil’s 7-1 humiliation in Belo Horizonte leaves them facing the prospect of a third-place play-ff tomorrow evening against Holland in Brasilia.
