The Brazil coach, Luiz Felipe Scolari, reviewed two options in training on Wednesday, Goal.com reports.

After being dropped to the bench for the game against Chile, Paulinho is being prepared to start in the quarter final with Colombia.

The Tottenham midfielder is set to play alongside Fernandinho of Manchester City, who will protect the defence in Luiz Gustavo’s absence. Gustavo is suspended after picking up a yellow card against Chile.

In the second part of the session on Wednesday, Scolari tried further alternatives. Maicon replaced Dani Alves on the right wing and the coach also made a tactical change, replacing Fred with Henrique. The Napoli defender played as a defensive midfielder ahead of Thiago Silva and David Luiz, giving the five players in front more freedom to get forward.
