The midfielder is happy to do what’s best for Fluminense, and bide his time ahead of a return to the starting line-up.
Chiquinho has found himself on the sidelines following the arrival of Cicero from Santos in May.
Speaking to Lance!Net, Chiquinho said: “My goal is to play. I finished playing and now it’s Cicero, and when the boss picks me I have to be ready and want to play in the middle.
“If I don’t have an opportunity I will be available to play where the gaffer chooses and help Fluminense, which is most important.”
