Sony columnist and former Spain international Gaizka Mendieta says he expects Brazilian star Neymar to keep improving after the World Cup has finished, describing the 22 year-old as “amazing”.

In his World Cup feature, Mendieta said: “You can tell he feels comfortable in his role and enjoys playing for Brazil. He is the focal point, in the right place at the right time and scoring when it’s most important.”

On today’s second round match between Brazil and Chile, which you can follow live on Sambafoot, Mendieta forewarned the hosts: “Brazil are a great team but also have weak points. They play with two offensive (wing) backs, Dani Alves and Marcelo, whho usually leave a l;ot of space behind them.”
