The 1982 World Cup star believes that the hosts had problems to solve after their 0-0 draw against Mexico.

Brazil play their final group game on Monday against Cameroon, a side that has already been knocked out of this World Cup.

Speaking to The Guardian, Zico said: “Cameroon have problems of their own, having lost Alex Song to a red card and seen their own players almost trading blows. That doesn"t mean they will just wait for Brazil to win. In this sense, the draw with Mexico may prove the moment Brazil had a reality check and got their act together.

“If anything, they [Brazil] can look at Spain"s demise, a lesson to everybody. The game is more competitive than ever: the Spaniards paid the price for not making adjustments. Their system relaxed and they kept thinking the old ways would suffice."
