FULL TIME: Brazil 1-0 Serbia– A below-par performance from the World Cup hosts brings them a win but at a cost; substitute Maicon appeared to injure his hamstring in the closing stages. Luiz Felipe Scolari may not care that his team have won their 15th game in 16 and they will be striving to improve for the tournament opening game with Croatia this coming Thursday.

71" – SER– Jocic hits the outside of the post with a header from a superb Kolarov cross; Maicon replaces Dani Alves for the home side.

70" – BRA– Neymar lets fly from 30 yards again but the shot misses by miles.

65" – BRA– Scolari brings on Fernandinho for Paulinho, who has looked off the pace tonight.

HALF-TIME: Brazil 0-0 Serbia– An extremely low-key first period by both teams. Very little in the way of goal scoring opportunities for either side. The pitch at the Morumbi is cutting up and is hardly helping matters. Boos from the crowd ring out from a frustrated support.

41" – BRA– Neymar chopped down again by Matic just about 30 yards from goal. Player booked. David Luiz wastes the resulting free kick, his shot clearing the bar.

15" – SER– Petrovic booked for another foul on Neymar. The game has little life in it so far.

9" – SER– Kolarov goes close for Serbia, who have started the game with confidence.
