Flamengo Vice-President Wallim Vasconcellos has poured cold water on speculation linking AC Milan attacker Robinho with a move to his club.
Flamengo, alongside several other Brazilian clubs, have been speculated as a possible destination for the 30-year-old should he leave Milan like expected.
However, during an interview with Calciomercato.com, the Vice-President has refuted those claims.
Football Italia quoted Vasconcellos, he said: “Most likely, Robinho will not come to Flamengo. That’s all I can say for now.”
It has been speculated recently that the former Real Madrid and Manchester City player will be leaving Italy shortly after a difficult season with the Rossoneri.
Where he will go, hasn’t been as clear-cut but for the time being it seems Flamengo is one team that can be crossed off the list.
