Brazil squad announcement 'leak' swiftly denied by CBFKardec might yet be celebrating good news -
As if the excitement of a Brazilian World Cup squad announcement in the year that they are to host the event wasn't enough for fans to take, rumours about the make up of said list have abounded in the country's media.
The CBF had to appease fears that Luiz Felipe Scolari's 23 was to become public knowledge after a 'leak' was published on social networks, reporting that new Sao Paulo striker Alan Kardec had made the cut.
It was only when the Zenit St. Petersburg forward Hulk had his name spelt incorrectly that Brazil officials had to deny that key information had got out.
Whether or not Kardec, the leading scorer in this year's Paulista championship whilst at Palmeiras, gets the nod from Scolari remains to be seen, but the real announcement will end all debate and will come within the next half an hour.
