Santos’ under-20 side will have the honour of playin a World Cup warm-up match against Group F side Bosnia-Hercegovina as the Europeanside prepare for their debut tournament. The match will take place in the coatal town of Guuaruja in Sao Paulo state, where the Bosnians will be located in the build up to the competition.

The youth team of Santos impressed by winning the Sao Paulo state championship in their age category recently and have nurtured current first team players Gabriel and Geuvanio in recent times.

Hugo Machado, the coach, told Lance: “The boys will gain more experience through the year.”

“They can make a difference in the competitions we compete in. And it will be very special to face a team that will compete in the World Cup.”

Bosnia will face tough opponents in Group F in the from of Nigeria, Iran and one of the tournament favourites, Argentina.
