Former Fiorentina goalkeeper Sébastien Frey praises current incumbent Neto
Former Fiorentina goalkeeper Sébastien Frey has praised current Viola stopper Neto.
The 34 year-old, who spent six seasons in Florence before moving on to Genoa and then Bursaspor, believes Neto has natural talent and has benefited from the way goalkeepers are trained in Italy.
“I trained for a few months with Neto and he has a natural explosiveness, while I think the Italian school helped him grow even more,” he told Radio Fiesole. “He can become one of the best goalkeepers in Serie A.”
