The talk of Europe has centered on Chelsea’s thrilling Champions League comeback against Paris Saint-Germain yesterday and now Brazilian Oscar is targeting a place in the final.

Oscar played his part in the comeback, not least earning the first leg penalty which proved to be crucial in the whole context of the tie.

The 22-year-old came agonizingly close to scoring the second in his sides 2-0 win yesterday but saw a free kick effort rebound off the bar and away from goal.

However, that wasn’t to matter as his team mate Demba Ba popped up to fire in late on and spark wild celebration at Stamford Bridge.

It means Oscar and Chelsea are now only two results away from the final in Estádio da Luz and the Brazilian is hoping to reach another European final with the Blues.

Oscar told Uefa.com: “Paris had the result in their hands but we dug deep and managed to qualify. We will prepare ourselves for the next two games, hoping to reach the final.”

Chelsea will find out their fate on Friday as the semi-final draw is made and after this captivating comeback, their fans are starting to believe it could be their year again.
