Barcelona getting rough treatment, claims Dani Alves
Barcelona and Brazil right back Dani Alves has denounced the refereeing decisions that he claims have been hampering his club's bid to win three trophies this season.
As the business end of the term approaches, Alves told reporters that he thinks officials are out to get the Catalan side: "Referee accusations are a motivation. It is customary for our wins to be dressed up like this.It seems part of our life."
"If we win it is because of the referees and if we lose it is becasue the cycle is over. We are above this and it does not affect us. Arguing is what they want."
"After the Clasico, the press were discussing our penalties while they kept quiet about Madrid's penalty, the only one that wasn't one."
Barca have recovered from a mid-season stumble that saw them lose two league games but have since gone on to beat their great rivals Real and return to title contention.
