PSG attacking midfielder Lucas Moura has reiterated his desire to tough it out at the Parisian club after finding himself increasingly marginalised under the management of Laurent Blanc.

The Brazil star, moved to France in 2012 from Sao Paulo for around €40 million, told French television programme Telefoot: “Life in Paris is superb- this is a wonderful city.”

“Of course I miss Brazil, but I’ve adapted well. I have improved these last few months and I’m really satisfied about my progress. I’m more at ease now, more happy to help my team. I’m very happy.”

31-times capped Lucas, who has already won a league title at PSG, continued: “I have still a lot to experience here and I want to stay. I will fight until the end. I’ll do everything I can to reach the World Cup and be on the list.”

Moura and his teammates face Chelsea this week in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final, with the French side installed as fourth favourites to win the trophy by some bookmakers.
