Mehdi Benatia has explained what caused the row between him and team-mate Maicon during Roma’s 2-0 win at Chievo on Saturday.
The two defenders became noticeably agitated with each other, culminating in a heated exchange.
Benatia admits he was annoyed with Maicon at the time, but insists the problem has now been resolved.
“These things can happen during games,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“Maicon was very angry and he made that clear to me in a way I did not like one little bit. We discussed it over the half-time break.
“Now everything has been cleared up between us.”
