Roma manager Rudi Garcia has praised the role of Rodrigo Taddei in his team’s 2-0 win at Chievo.
The veteran Brazilian played the whole 90 minutes and assisted Mattia Destro for the second goal.
After the match, Garcia was eager to highlight Taddei’s importance and hinted that the midfielder could be in line for a new deal.
“We had a great first half,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“I didn’t like the second half as much though! We scored from two defensive errors, but the pass from Taddei for the second was excellent.
“Taddei is a high level professional, he has always worked hard and I am pleased with the results.
“For me he is a very important player, whenever I call on him he always does his best and there will be time to talk about a new contract for him.”
