Casemiro has hailed Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.
The current Ballon d’Or holder netted his 38th goal of the season as Real defeated Schalke 04 3-1 to progress into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Casemiro, who came on a substitute for Xabi Alonso at half-time, insists Ronaldo is the best player on the planet.
“Cristiano is the best player in the world,” he told UEFA.com. “He is really something to see and is an example for the younger players.”
