Internacional midfielder Andres D’Alessandro has resumed full training and should be fit for selection for their Gaucho state championship game with Cruzeiro RS on Saturday evening.

The Argentine, who recently picked up an award for being the best foreigner in Brazilian football for 2013, has been out since March 5 with a muscle injury.

According to goal.com.br, D’Alessandro has been working on his ball skills and is set to train with the rest of the first team squad proper on Wednesday, when his fitness levels will be assessed further.

“From the feedback we’re giving D’Alessandro in training, he will be available to the group from Wednesday”, Inter’s fitness co-ordinator told Brazilian radio.

D’Alessandro has been plying his trade in Brazil at Internacional since 2008.
