Brazil Sports Minister Aldo Rebelo has visited the facilities at Santos, as well as the club’s Vila Belmiro stadium, and declared himslef more than happy with what they have to offer ahead of this year’s World Cup.
Speaking with Santos TV, Rebelo said: “Of all the facilities or training centres I have visited so far, the most perfect that require the least amount of work is the training centre and stadium of Santos.”
“They are ready to host Mexico and Costa Rica (who will both be based there). Santos will offer what the country has to offer, what will give the best impression to teams, journalists and guests.”
