In December Thiago Silva revealed that he never wanted to leave AC Milan in 2012 and that sparked speculation that the Rossoneri would try to bring him back to the San Siro this summer.

Any hopes however that the Brazil captain would move back to Italy though have been halted in their tracks by the 29-year-old himself.

The PSG captain admitted he wants to stay in Paris at least until the end of his contract, adding: “Will I go back to Milan one day? I don’t know what the future will be.

“I have a long-term contract at Paris. I hope to stay until the end of it, but indeed Milan has remained in my heart.”

Silva’s contract with PSG runs until 2018 and he hopes to achieve a special goal between now and then.

The Brazil skipper has won the Confederations Cup and league championships in Italy and France but he now aims to lift the Champions League as PSG captain.

Silva concluded: “Above all what I hope the most is to win the Champions League with PSG.”
